Building Confidence Through Connection
About Us
Our Story
I’m an accredited IMDT Dog Trainer and former veterinary nurse with a lifelong love of dogs. I specialise in one-on-one training, and occasionally offer small group classes when the opportunity arises. My goal is to help people and their dogs build strong, trusting, and joyful partnerships using only positive, fear-free, evidence-based methods.
I’ve shared my life with many breeds over the years and currently have a little French Bulldog named Aspen, who brings equal parts sass and sunshine to my days. She was thoughtfully bred with health as the top priority, and you might notice in some of her photos—she has a tail! This small feature is actually a big deal; it means she doesn’t suffer from the common structural and breathing issues often seen in the breed. Aspen carries only one copy of the DVL2 gene, which gives her a longer snout, open nostrils, and stronger, healthier spinal vertebrae. If you want to follow Aspen's adventures and chaos, just click the button below!
Supporting breeders with health in mind is something I’m deeply passionate about.
Ongoing learning is a non-negotiable part of my work. I’m committed to staying current with modern training methods and regularly attend professional development courses, webinars, conferences, and collaborate with other force-free trainers. As an accredited IMDT trainer, I adhere to a strict code of ethics and have undergone comprehensive assessments to earn my credentials.
While I love to work with all breeds, I have a soft spot—and a special interest in French Bulldogs (obviously!)

I had the most amazing experience having Sarah train both my cat, Leia, and my dog, Ozzi. Her ability to connect with them was truly special. Sarah’s approach was warm, calming, and incredibly patient, which made the entire process feel natural and easy. She used hand signals and positive reinforcement techniques that my pets quickly responded to. Sarah’s knowledge was invaluable—she broke everything down so I could continue training at home and helped me better understand the human-pet relationship, making daily life with Leia and Ozzi much smoother.
If you’re looking for someone who is gentle, professional, and effective, I can't recommend Sarah enough. She is absolutely the person to trust with your pets.

Sarah has been amazing with my dachshund! She uses such a positive and calming approach to training that improved my dog's behaviour but also helped reduce my own stress around training. Sarah takes the time to explain my dog's body language and how each training method is benefiting him, ensuring I fully understood how to continue practicing the training at home. She was able to quickly adapt to any situation and address any issues that came up during training. Sarah is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and truly caring. I'm so grateful for her and the positive impact she's had on the bond between my dog and myself.

Sarah has been training my two anxious Spoodles for the past three years. She has helped us with walking on the lead, name recall, barking, crate exposure, excessive licking and finding activities to keep our dogs busy when we attend to our baby. Their behaviour is still a work in progress but has improved significantly and it’s great having Sarah by our side problem solving strategies, educating and coaching us on how to meet their needs in a positive way. Sarah is very knowledgeable when it comes to positive behaviour training. She is approachable, very supportive and fun for the dogs she works with and their humans. 5/5 star rating. Well actually 1000000/ 5!!
